product description
SVOLT 5.09kWh Battery – 48V 106Ah LiFePO₄
The SVOLT 5.09kWh Battery is a wall-mounted LiFePO₄ energy storage solution for residential and commercial solar systems. It provides 5.09kWh nominal energy, 48V nominal voltage and 106Ah capacity. Therefore, it offers a practical solution for solar energy storage and backup power applications.
The battery uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) technology. This chemistry provides stable performance and suits applications that require regular charging and discharging.
In addition, the compact wall-mounted design helps save valuable floor space. As a result, installers can create a clean and organised battery installation.
SVOLT 5.09kWh Battery Performance
The battery supports a maximum continuous discharge current of 100A. In addition, published specifications for this model state a peak discharge current of up to 150A.
The battery also includes an integrated Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS monitors important operating conditions and helps protect the battery during charging and discharging.
Furthermore, the system supports expansion when customers require additional energy storage. Published specifications state support for up to 16 batteries in parallel. However, installers should always confirm the correct configuration before connecting multiple batteries.
Wall-Mounted Solar Energy Storage
The wall-mounted enclosure makes this battery suitable for homes, offices and commercial solar installations. Moreover, the compact design allows installers to position the battery neatly against a suitable wall.
The battery measures approximately 688 × 447 × 211mm and weighs approximately 49.5kg for the commonly listed 48V 106Ah version.
Therefore, installers should use suitable mounting equipment and follow the installation requirements for the specific battery version.
Solar and Backup Power Applications
The SVOLT 5.09kWh Battery can store energy from a compatible solar system for later use. For example, solar panels can generate energy during the day while the battery stores available excess energy according to the inverter settings.
Later, the inverter can use stored battery energy when solar production drops or during a power interruption.
Actual backup time depends on several factors. These include the connected load, inverter efficiency, battery state of charge and depth of discharge.
Overall, the SVOLT battery provides a compact energy storage option for solar systems, inverter backup, residential properties and commercial installations.
