product description
ECCO ELV51300 Battery – 15.36kWh 51.2V 300Ah
The ECCO ELV51300 Battery is a high-capacity LiFePO₄ energy storage solution for solar and backup systems. It provides 15.36kWh of nominal energy with a 51.2V 300Ah configuration. Therefore, it suits larger residential and commercial energy requirements.
In addition, the battery uses Lithium Iron Phosphate technology. Its floor-standing design also provides a practical solution for larger solar installations.
ECCO ELV51300 Battery Performance
The ECCO ELV51300 Battery provides a recommended charge and discharge current of 100A. Furthermore, the supplied specifications list a maximum continuous current of 180A.
The battery can also provide a peak discharge current of 200A for 10 seconds. Therefore, it can manage brief increases in power demand.
Its standard operating voltage ranges from 44.8V to 56.16V. However, actual system performance depends on the inverter and installation.
LiFePO₄ Battery Technology
ECCO uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) technology in the ELV51300. This chemistry provides stable performance for regular solar energy storage.
In addition, the supplied specifications list at least 6,000 cycles at 80% Depth of Discharge. Therefore, the battery suits systems that require regular charging and discharging.
The recommended Depth of Discharge ranges from 80% to 90%. However, operating conditions can affect long-term battery performance.
Intelligent Battery Management System
An integrated Battery Management System (BMS) monitors important battery conditions during operation.
For example, the BMS helps manage over-voltage and under-voltage conditions. In addition, it provides over-current and short-circuit protection.
The BMS also monitors temperature conditions. As a result, it helps manage battery operation during regular use.
Communication and Inverter Integration
The battery provides CAN, RS485 and RS232 communication interfaces. These ports allow compatible inverter systems to exchange operating information with the battery.
Therefore, the inverter can manage charging and discharging according to battery information.
However, customers should confirm the correct communication protocol before installation. A compatible voltage alone does not guarantee full BMS communication with every inverter.
Expandable Battery Storage
The ECCO system can support multiple compatible batteries in parallel. According to the supplied information, the system supports up to 15 or 16 units, depending on the exact configuration.
Therefore, customers can increase their storage when energy requirements grow.
For example, two batteries provide 30.72kWh of nominal storage. Four batteries provide approximately 61.44kWh.
This scalability makes the battery useful for larger residential and commercial energy systems.
Floor-Standing Battery Design
The ELV51300 uses a vertical floor-standing enclosure. Therefore, it does not require a standard 19-inch battery rack.
The battery measures approximately 591 × 157.5 × 1025mm. In addition, the supplied specifications list a weight of approximately 128–130kg.
Its IP54 rating provides moderate protection against dust and splashing water. However, installers should still follow the manufacturer’s installation requirements.

Residential and Commercial Applications
The ECCO ELV51300 Battery provides substantial storage from a single battery unit. Therefore, it can suit homes and businesses with higher energy requirements.
For example, a compatible solar system can store excess solar production in the battery. Users can then access the stored energy when required.
Furthermore, customers can expand the system with additional compatible batteries. This provides flexibility as energy requirements increase.
