Deye SE-G5.3 Battery – 5.32kWh 51.2V 104Ah

The Deye SE-G5.3 Battery is a low-voltage LiFePO₄ energy storage solution for solar and backup systems. It provides 5.32kWh of nominal energy and 4.79kWh of usable energy. In addition, its 51.2V architecture suits compatible low-voltage solar systems.

The battery has a nominal capacity of 104Ah. Therefore, it provides a practical storage solution for residential and commercial applications.

Deye SE-G5.3 Battery Performance

The Deye SE-G5.3 Battery supports a recommended charge and discharge current of 50A. Furthermore, it supports a maximum current of 100A.

The battery can also provide a peak current of 150A for two minutes at 25°C. Therefore, it can manage short periods of increased power demand.

Its operating voltage ranges from 43.2V to 57.6V. However, available current can change according to battery temperature and State of Charge.

LiFePO₄ Battery Technology

Deye uses cobalt-free Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) technology in the SE-G5.3. This chemistry provides stable performance for regular solar energy storage.

Furthermore, Deye specifies a recommended 90% Depth of Discharge. This provides approximately 4.79kWh of usable DC energy under the stated test conditions.

The battery also provides at least 6,000 cycles under Deye’s specified test conditions. Therefore, it suits systems that require regular charging and discharging.

Intelligent Battery Management System

The SE-G5.3 includes an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS monitors important battery conditions during operation.

In addition, it provides protection for the battery system. Natural cooling also helps the battery operate without a complex active cooling system.

LED indicators display the battery’s State of Charge and operating status. Therefore, users can quickly check important battery information.

Flexible Installation Options

The battery uses a standard 19-inch 3U design. As a result, installers can use it in a compatible battery rack.

In addition, Deye supports floor-mounted and wall-mounted installation. This provides more flexibility when designing the battery storage area.

The battery measures approximately 440 × 133 × 560mm and weighs about 44kg.

Communication and System Expansion

The SE-G5.3 provides CAN 2.0 and RS485 communication ports. These interfaces allow the battery to exchange information with compatible equipment.

Furthermore, the modular design supports substantial system expansion. Deye specifies up to 64 battery packs in parallel, providing approximately 340kWh of total nominal storage.

Up to 32 batteries can operate in parallel without external setup. Therefore, installers can create larger battery banks when more storage becomes necessary.
