LuxPower 14kW Inverter – Single Phase Eco Hybrid

The LuxPower 14kW Inverter is a powerful single-phase eco-hybrid and off-grid inverter for high-demand residential and commercial solar systems. The SNA-EU 14000 combines solar generation, 48V-class battery storage, AC input and generator support in one flexible energy-management solution.

With a rated output of up to 14kW at 230V with PV and battery, this inverter provides substantial capacity for larger solar installations. It also offers a fast UPS switching time of less than 10ms for supported backup applications.

LuxPower 14kW Inverter Solar Input

The inverter supports up to 24kW of PV input power. It provides 2 independent MPPT inputs with four PV string connections.

The MPPT operating range is 120–440V DC, while the maximum PV input voltage is 480V. Therefore, installers have flexibility when designing compatible solar-panel arrays.

However, installers must calculate the complete PV string before installation. Panel voltage and current must remain within the inverter’s specified operating limits.

48V Battery Storage

The SNA-EU 14000 works with a 48V/51.2V battery class and supports compatible lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.

For the 14kW model, LuxPower lists a maximum charging and discharging current of 270A and maximum charging/discharging power of 13kW.

Battery compatibility should always be confirmed before installation. In particular, lithium battery users should verify the BMS communication protocol and configuration for the exact battery model.

Generator and Backup Power

A dedicated generator connection adds another source of energy when solar or battery power is insufficient. The official specifications list a 15kW rated generator input.

This makes the inverter suitable for installations where backup power availability is important.

Residential and Commercial Applications

The LuxPower 14kW Inverter is suitable for larger homes, workshops, offices and compatible small-business solar installations.

Correct system design remains important. Installers should calculate the property’s peak load, expected daily energy consumption, battery-storage requirement and PV capacity before installation.

In addition, suitable AC and DC protection, isolators, battery cables, PV cables and other installation equipment should be selected according to the final system design.
