At Solar Experts (Pty) Ltd, we proudly stand behind the quality of our products. To maintain the validity of your warranty and to ensure smooth support, please review the following important terms and conditions carefully:

Warranty Eligibility – Inverters and Batteries

To qualify for warranty support, all inverters and batteries must be installed by a qualified electrical wireman or master electrician who is registered with the Department of Labour.
The following documentation is mandatory for any warranty claim:

• A valid Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC) specific to the solar or backup installation;

• Clear installation photographs;

• Proof of installation by a qualified and registered professional.

Important:
All installations must comply fully with SANS 10142 standards and all associated requirements.
Failure to provide the above documents will result in rejection of the warranty claim and voiding of the warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

The following causes of damage are not covered under warranty:

• Power surges, voltage fluctuations (over-voltage/under-voltage);

• Lightning strikes or electrical storms;

• Corrosion, saltwater or sea spray exposure;

• Condensation, water ingress, or liquid damage;

• Dust, sand, or other solid particle infiltration;

• Infestation by insects, lizards, or similar;

• Excessive heat, UV exposure, or adverse weather conditions;

• Negligence by the installer or end-user;

• Incorrect or non-compliant installation;

• Lack of appropriate surge protection or circuit protection;

• Tampering with the product or broken warranty seals;

• Dirty, clogged, or unmaintained filters;

• Overloading, exceeding rated limits, or improper use beyond manufacturer specifications.

Important Notice

• All warranty assessments are subject to inspection and testing by Solar Experts (Pty) Ltd or an authorised service provider.

• The decision regarding the approval or rejection of a warranty claim is at the sole discretion of Solar Experts (Pty) Ltd, based on compliance with these terms.
